Fortunately, they found Deputy, an easy app that synced with their point of sales system, Quickbooks and payroll.
“As a mom, I have crazy hours, so it’s really great to be able to log into Deputy and make sure all the shifts are covered and the store is running smoothly,” remarked Jennifer Strain, founder of Good Fortune.
The company’s favorite features are the Deputy News Feed, which enables easy communication with employees including those who are not on shift. The scheduling feature also allows employees to see everyone’s schedules so they know who’s working each day. Mobility is a key benefit for Good Fortune as it allows their employees to stay organized, request time off, and check their schedules – all from their smartphones.
Bobbie Fields, manager of Good Fortune, explains, “With Deputy, being able to clock in and out on our phones has really worked well with all our employees, it’s very self-explanatory. Deputy just makes our lives simpler.”
