What Is A Gantt Chart?
A Gantt Chart is a popular project management tool for showing how tasks, events, schedules, or activities displayed against time. Gantt Charts allow you to show how various tasks relate to each other, and to see how far certain tasks have progressed. They were developed in 1890 by Karol Adamiecki, a Polish engineer who ran a steelworks and had an interest in management ideas. A decade later Henry Gantt, an American engineer improved on the methodology which now bears his name. Today Gantt Charts are used by many businesses to schedule people for different projects, tasks or periods of work.
