You’ve been busy these last three months, so you might have missed some of the latest and greatest enhancements we’ve made to Deputy. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to.
- Unpaid Leave Reports
- Adding and removing employees in bulk
- New look Shift Notes
- News Feed enhancements
💸 Unpaid Leave Exports
We all love taking a holiday, but what is a lot less fun is trying to manage, track and report on your team’s leave as they take paid and unpaid annual leave throughout the year.
To improve your ability to track and manage leave, we’ve now introduced the ability to export unpaid leave timesheet reports as a CSV file, building a more complete picture around who is taking leave in your business, and when.
🗄️ Adding and removing employees in bulk
As any seasonal business knows, ramping up and down your employee headcount throughout the year can be really time consuming.
To make this easier and save you time, we’ve now added the option to bulk discard and bulk reinstate employees through our people tab.
📝 New look shift notes
Shift notes are a great way to tie specific tasks, notices or general information to a particular shift to make sure nothing important gets missed.
We’ve made working with shift notes more convenient through a brand new pop up screen accessible from the Me Tab calendar, as well as expanding the shift note space when navigating through the scheduling tab.
📢 Jump-to-post News Feed enhancement
The Deputy News Feed is a great way to keep everyone up to date with everything important that’s happening in your business, from company policy updates to birthdays!
With employees able to jump straight to a specific post in the News Feed from a push notification, they can respond even faster to posts with no more scrolling.
And that’s a wrap!
