Deputy was founded and created in 2008 by aviation entrepreneur Steve Shelley and technologist Ashik Ahmed.

The genesis of our company was a work scheduling platform for an Australian airline ground services company. We have transformed Deputy into a platform that has social, mobile and cloud technologies at the centre of our offering.
