A day in the life of Ludi at Deputy
Tell us a bit about yourself and what attracted you to join Deputy? 

I’m Ludi from Barcelona. I’ve been working in IT sales for the past 5 years, and in December 2019 I decided to move to Sydney to grow as a professional.

I had a look at all the SaaS companies within the area but Deputy got my attention. It was important for me to work for a company that makes a positive impact on people's lives and this is exactly what we do.

During the recruitment process, I fell in love with the technology, the team, and the vision. I met smart professionals and I knew this is where I wanted to be.  

Talk me through a day in the life of a Partner Manager at Deputy?

I start my day by checking my agenda to see what my day looks like. I review my tasks, then my inbox and my Slack. I reach out to my partners to ensure they have everything they need and create strategies to maximize the number of referral leads coming in. Even working remotely it’s really easy to communicate with my colleagues and everyone is happy to jump on a call for work purposes or to socialize. 

What do you find most interesting about your job? What do you find most challenging?

The best way to define the Partner Team is by saying that it’s currently like a startup inside Deputy: there is a lot to do and it’s exciting. The most challenging part is the amount of work it requires but anything is possible thanks to our global team. 

How would you describe the culture at Deputy? 

The culture at Deputy is all about the people and our customers. With COVID, it made me realize how Deputy cares about us as employees. The company took a list of actions, such as wellness days. And on the customer side, we gave them the ability to easily pause their account.
