How soon can we get started with Deputy if we have less than 250 employees?
Generally, you can get started with Deputy in about one week. We offer Deputy Essentials Live sessions (4 one-hour sessions) that take place over four days. You can also ask questions in real time with our team during these sessions.
We also offer Deputy Essentials on Demand that you can watch on YouTube. This allows our customers to go at their own pace, so they can be set up in a day if they need.
How soon can we get started with Deputy if we have 250 employees or more?
For larger businesses, we tailor the implementation process to your unique needs and goals (e.g. the details of your operation, pay infrastructure, payroll processing, etc.) so timelines will be specific to your business. Generally speaking though, getting your whole team up and running successfully with Deputy can be completed in 4 stages.
First, during the discovery and planning stage, we work closely with you to understand the problems you’re looking to solve — and show you how we can solve them.
Once we understand your criteria for success, we will commence the configuration and build stage. This is where you will get a chance to test what we have built and provide your feedback.
Next, we will ensure you get all the training you need to be set up for success before you move to the final stage: going live with Deputy.
Employees
How many employees do I need to have to use Deputy?
Currently, there’s no minimum number of employees for most of our plans. However, with our enterprise plan, you’ll need at least 250 employees.
Can I archive employee data?
Yes, if a team member stops working for your organization, you can easily archive their team member account in your organization.

Which industries does Deputy support?
We support all industries that are shift based, but we specialize in retail, hospitality, healthcare, security, and manufacturing. You can see a full list of industries here.
Customer Support
What kind of customer support do you offer?
We offer a variety of customer support options. For our Deputy Premium customers, we offer a support chat for the first 60 days to help you onboard and answer all your support questions. Beyond that, everyone can submit support tickets and we will get back to you within 24 hours. For more information, you can always visit our customer help center and live training.

How much does Deputy cost?
It’s easy to get started with Deputy. Just start your free trial today. We offer different pricing models based on business size and needs. Try Scheduling or Timesheets & Attendance for $3.50 per user, or our Premium model with additional reporting for $4.90 per user. Businesses with more than 250 employees can ask for custom pricing with our Enterprise model.

What other software does Deputy integrate with?

Yes, system administrators and location managers can set up pay rates for each individual team member. They can also set up pay rates for specific tasks and times worked.
Do your time clock apps offer geofencing or facial recognition to prevent buddy punching?
Yes, we offer both. With Deputy’s Kiosk app for iPad and Time Clock app for Android Tablet, your team members can easily clock in for their shifts and use facial recognition to verify attendance. Or they can use the Deputy Mobile app to clock in and out from their phones, with geofencing capabilities to show they were in the right place at the right time.
